Nuthurst Fungi
I have been recording and photographing my 'fungal finds' since September 1997.To date I have made about 1700 records of about 350 species - not so impressive when compared with the 900 or so species in 'Mushrooms' by Roger Phillips or the 1000 in Jordan's 'Encyclopedia of Fungi of Britain and Europe'. [I have seen the the latter for sale in Bookends in Horsham at the amazing price of £6.99!]
I live just outside the Nuthurst parish but often cross the border to see what is going on fungus-wise.
From my records I have seen about 115 species in Nuthurst. I have listed them below, although as an amateur I am aware that my identifications are often little more than educated guesses.
